06_Iwanami
(Iwanami: Cliff wave). Now an iaidoka defends himself from an attack of a left sitting opponent. At the moment of attack the Iaidoka moves evasive back and draws his katana. With abrupt 90° turn of the body to the left he grasps and turns his sword at the same time. Then he can stab the opponent with Soetezuki technique.
With hand applied on the sword closed to the attacker he will be cut. This is followed by a rotation to the fallen enemy on the ground and a final section puts an end to all.
07_Urokogaeshi
(Urokogaeshi: Turned fish scale). Now someone defends himself against an attack from the left. At the moment of attack, the iaidoka draws his katana. With a narrow 90° bend of his body to the left his Nukitsuke is like the strike against the scaly surface of the fish (hence the curious name of the form).
This defense is followed by a vertical cut, which finish all problems.
08_Namigaeshi
(Namigaeshi: Crashing wave). Now someone defends himelf against an attack from the back. At the moment of attack, the body of the iaidoka moves with deception drawing his katana. The body illusion analogous to the idea of a wave which breaks against a rock (hence the name of the form) and then strike back.
With 180° rotation of the rear body follows a horizontal cutting Nukitsuke. This defense is followed by a vertical two-handed cut that brings the matter over.
09_Takiotoshi
(Takiotoshi: Waterfall). Now someone defends himself against an attack by a rear seated opponent. The enemy wants to take the Saya or becomes aggressive otherwise. At that moment the iaidoka rises up with rotating motion and draws his sword high in the vertical.
Then the sword is bright drawn at 180° body rotation and there is an engraving from the top to the lower opponent.
This defense is followed by a vertical two-handed cut that brings the matter over.
10_Nukiuchi
(Nukiuchi: Drawing und cutting). There are sitting two opposing swordsman in Seiza. The enemy attacks. In flowing movement the Iaidoka draws his sword for Ukenagashi defense. Then he raises the sword in fluently movement for cutting. When you cut the legs are explained to balance.
